The Apex Elongated 14 trades a little forgiveness for reach, pop and serious spin. Its 16.5 in frame and thinner 14 mm core give drives and overheads a lively, direct feel, and the raw T700 face bites hard on rolled returns.
Why players love it
- Reach where it counts. The extra half inch of length helps on wide dinks and stretched volleys when your feet cannot quite get there.
- Raw T700 grit. Unpainted carbon weave generates heavy topspin on serves, drives and counters.

Serves got heavier overnight
Playing 4.5 outdoors and the spin on serves and rolled returns is legit. The sweet spot is narrower than my old widebody, so blocks need clean contact. Worth the adjustment.

Powerful, but give it time
Fast and poppy, almost too much for my soft game at first. After two weeks of drilling resets I like it a lot. I went with the 4.25 grip plus an overgrip and it is perfect.
