Forgiving is an understatement
I am a 3.5 player and the wide face saves me on rushed blocks. Drops are more consistent than with my old fiberglass paddle. Not much power on drives, which I expected.

Drop Zone Control 16
$169.00
A widebody control paddle with a carbon and fiberglass face for big sweet-spot forgiveness and soft, repeatable drops.
- Free shipping on orders over $75
- 60-day play test on every paddle
- 2-year warranty on core and edge
The Drop Zone Control 16 is built around one shot: the third-shot drop. A widebody 8.0 in face puts more paddle behind the ball, and the carbon and fiberglass hybrid skin softens contact without going dead.
Why players love it
- Biggest sweet spot in the line. The wide face is the most forgiving shape we make, and it shows on off-balance blocks and mishits.
- Soft without mush. Fiberglass adds a touch of give while carbon keeps feedback clear, so you know exactly how hard you hit it.
- Stable at 8.0 oz. Centered mass resists twisting when the ball catches the outer edge of the face.
- Compact handle. A 5.0 in grip suits one-handed players and keeps the hitting surface as large as possible.
A smart pick for 3.0 to 4.0 players building consistency, and for anyone whose game lives on drops and resets. Pair it with a dozen Tour 40 balls and drill until the drop becomes automatic.

Great clinic paddle
I use it for warmups in the clinics I run at the community courts, and students like how soft it feels. The grip runs a bit short for two-handed backhands.
